Following the 2006 PTDF investigation, the Federal Government filed an 18-count charge before the Code of Conduct Tribunal against then Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and others under Charge No. CCT/NC/ABJ/06 dated 22 September 2006. Following the EFCC’s 2006 investigation report, then President Olusegun Obasanjo constituted an Administrative Panel of Inquiry headed by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Bayo Ojo, SAN, to review the findings.
