The Asiwaju Media Team, Ondo State Chapter, has warmly welcomed the former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Alfred Agboola Ajayi, into the All Progressives Congress (APC), described his defection as a significant boost to the progressive family in the state.
The media group commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his open door leadership style, which has continued to position the APC and the Ondo State Government as a home for all citizens and stakeholders, irrespective of political background. According to the group, the Governor’s inclusive approach has strengthened unity, peace, and confidence in governance across the state.
While calling on party members and stakeholders to rally round the administration, the Asiwaju Media Team urged continued support for the developmental strides being implemented under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, noting that these efforts align perfectly with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ondo State, the group recalled, remains a pacesetter within the Renewed Hope family nationwide, being the first state to formally declare total support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The early declaration of Ondo For Tinubu by Governor Aiyedatiwa has since received massive endorsement from the government, party structures, and the people of the state.
Reacting to Hon. Agboola Ajayi’s entry into the APC, the Asiwaju Media Team expressed confidence that his decision is in harmony with the broader Our Ease Agenda for President Tinubu, adding that his experience and political capital will further strengthen the party’s growing dominance in Ondo State.
Speaking on behalf of the team, the Director General of the Asiwaju Media Team, Prince Emorioloye Owolemi, stated that the group operates in Ondo State under the leadership of what he described as the people’s Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. He affirmed that Hon. Agboola Ajayi is wholeheartedly welcomed into the APC family.
Prince Owolemi further noted that the steady influx of political heavyweights into the APC is a clear testament to the Governor’s leadership and the party’s expanding appeal, stressing that opposition parties in the state are rapidly losing relevance as the APC continues to consolidate its hold ahead of future political engagements.
