PRESS STATEMENT
The Asiwaju Media Team hereby formally approves the reappointment of Comr. Madiba Monday Ledum as the Rivers State Coordinator of the Asiwaju Media Team, with effect from 1st January, 2023.
Comr. Madiba Monday Ledum was initially appointed as the State Coordinator of the team in Rivers State in 2023. His reappointment is the outcome of a thorough, fact based assessment of his performance, marked by consistent perseverance, proven integrity, respect for human dignity, and unwavering commitment to responsible engagement.
These qualities have been adjudged worthy and sufficient to retain him in this strategic leadership position.
In his capacity as State Coordinator, Comr. Madiba Monday Ledum is entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening effective communication, maintaining a functional and responsive bridge between the state structure and the grassroots, and ensuring the accurate, responsible, and coordinated dissemination of information in line with the objectives and values of the Asiwaju Media Team.
The Asiwaju Media Team reiterates its firm commitment to the defence of institutional integrity and the positive representation of leadership at all levels, including the President as the national leader, the National Chairman of the party, and state governors operating under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The State Coordinator is expected to ensure that all activities of the Asiwaju Media Team in Rivers State strictly adhere to the established guidelines, operational principles of the team, and the broader values and standards of the party.
The National Directorate expresses strong confidence in Comr. Madiba Monday Ledum’s capacity to discharge this responsibility with diligence, discipline, and professionalism.
